July 25-31: Pure Joy in Motion

There are times when I really want to capture an image but I can't get the camera to take the picture I envisioned in my head.  I love the look of pure joy Joslyn has on her face every time we throw her up in the air.  She giggles and gives the biggest smile and I wanted to capture that moment in a photograph but capturing motion is one of my limitations as a photographer. I just never learned how to do it.  I haven't learned a lot of things when it comes to photography.  So what do I do? I Googled "photographing motion" and found a great article on shutter speed. I grabbed my camera, my two favorite subjects (the hubs and Joslyn) and went outside to practice.  I finally caught that moment in time and I'm proud of myself.
