Week 35: Priceless
I'm going to preface this post by saying I am not a lover of sports. My brothers have always been athletic and my entire family, even my mom, loves going to sporting events. I am the odd man out because I hate sports...well not entirely, I did like volleyball. I spent a lot of my life at baseball fields and traveling to towns with my mom and brother for soccer tournaments. I told my parents that I would find a man that didn't like sports and marry him and that's exactly what I did! But because I love my brother and dad and I knew how happy it would make them, I took Joslyn to her very first USC football tailgate. The only thing I love about sports is the way people are deeply devoted to their team. For my family it's the 49ers, Sharks, Giants and of course USC. I didn't go to USC but my brothers did and the Trojan pash (their word for the passion they have for their team) runs deep. I could care less if the team wins or loses a game but as soon as that USC marching band comes out, you can't help but start dancing to the music and feel the urge to raise a V to the sky.
