I've read quite a few articles and a book about this mommy war raging, stay-at-home versus working moms. Well I've done both and I can tell you they are both hard because motherhood is hard. Being a parent is the most challenging, frustrating and rewarding thing I've ever done in my life. Some days I want to run away from the house and never come back. And there are other days, like a random Thursday last week that included a trip to Pump It Up where Joslyn got 15 minutes of the room all to herself, playing in puddles leftover from the rain and writing on the cement with chalk, when I think this motherhood thing is pretty amazing and I'm doing an ok job at it. If at the end of the week the good moments outweigh the "I want to pull my hair out" moments I consider that week a win.
