For Mother's Day, my wonderful husband gave me the 50mm lens I've been lusting after! I only got a chance to play with it for a little bit because I was sick, Joslyn was sick...there was a lot of sick in our house. But I LOVE the two shots I took with it! I can't wait to experiment some more!
Boo for being sick, but YAY for the new lens! I do have the 50mm lens for my film SLR and love to use it. Enjoy experimenting w/ your Mother's day gift!
ReplyDeleteI'm planning on taking 1 year pictures of Joslyn so I need to learn how to use my new lens for them! I'm going to take them myself since we're going to the Cape the month after and I want my BIL to take family pictures of us.
ReplyDeletethe 50mm is great for child portraits! I just love how it softens the background and makes their chubby cheeks pop. Best thing to do is just start shooting w/ the 50mm, even everyday things. You'll get the hang real fast ;)
