John's usually the one that cuts Joslyn's nails while I feed her. But I decided to try to do it alone since he's working late this week. I'm a Mom...I can do anything, right?! I got to the last finger, her thumb, and cut her! She was screaming bloody murder and I felt so awful. It was traumatic for both of us. But I consulted Dr. Sears and applied pressure and a little antibiotic ointment. Lots of kisses and a little time on the play mat and she was a happy baby again, phew!

Day 87 (August 3rd): Parenting Fail
John's usually the one that cuts Joslyn's nails while I feed her. But I decided to try to do it alone since he's working late this week. I'm a Mom...I can do anything, right?! Oh man...that sucks...I did that to Quinn once when she was about that age too. I felt TERRIBLE! Joslyn is so cute! She's starting to look like a baby and not so much like a newborn. :o)
