Day 55: A Day of Firsts

Joslyn has a diaper rash that doesn't seem to want to go away. I was worried it was something worse, like a yeast infection, so I called the pediatrician and they asked us to come in to take a look. Turns out it's just a bad diaper rash. So Joslyn got her first prescription and we survived our first day out of the house with just the two of us. I had to wake her up from her nap to take her there so she was not happy, I couldn't figure out how to take the car seat out of the car (John always did it before), she left the pediatrician's office screaming, we got a funny look from someone in line at CVS because she was still screaming...but then she went to sleep a minute later and all was well. I even had a chance to grab some lunch and eat it before she woke up again. I call that a huge success.
