It took me awhile to register to vote. The recent presidential election inspired me to finally register because I couldn't stand by and let everyone else make the choice for me. I only voted for the President but I had a big smile on my face when I left the polling place. The primary election is next week in California so I sat down today with my vote-by-mail packet. I only vote for that which I feel I'm informed enough to vote on. To me, an uninformed vote is worse than not voting at all. But I'm really trying to be more informed than I was in the past.
